Brave Beginnings Counseling, LLC provides therapy in the Champaign, IL area. Steve and Latrice are both social workers who are experienced in delivering exceptional counseling and therapy services to clients.
An associate reached out about redesigning their counseling practice's website. Brave Beginnings Counseling provides therapy services in the Champaign, IL area, and their current site was built on SimplePractice's website builder. Functional, but limited in both design flexibility and SEO potential. The mission was to spruce things up and give them a web presence that matched the quality of the work they do.
I started with a homepage redesign that brings a more modern, welcoming feel. The original design was serviceable but didn't have much personality, and there wasn't a lot of room to grow within what SimplePractice offers out of the box. Moving to Next.js opens up the flexibility they need while still keeping things connected to their SimplePractice backend for scheduling and client management.
This one's still in progress. The next steps are integrating Phino for a consistent design system, attaching a CMS for easy content updates, refreshing the logo and branding, updating the copy, and wiring everything back to SimplePractice.
